Concepts can be deceiving!

Classique Edge is a development concept that defines the nature and purpose through which the Parnell Bruce Experience has evolved over just more than a decade since 2011. This has been a journey founded on a Love of Cars and their design evolution through the 20th century that has tracked our dramatic human journey towards a future of artificial intelligence.

I believe that the motor car is an expression of personal freedom. For many, they become an extension of who we are and represent more than just freedom in mobility. For some they offer the possibility of speed and competition. For a few, they are an indulgence in exclusivity.

Our journey has been a unique learning experience that has bound our people, friends, vehicles, artefacts and partners to an ever changing and seemingly endless journey of transformation between the known analogue past and an uncertain digital future.

Our mission is to save from extinction what should survive from the past, through adaptation for survival into the future.

I have always valued those who are prepared to face the edge of personal risk to follow a dream. This reflects my own journey as son and brother, husband and father, engineer and contractor, friend, colleague, executive and volunteer.

I am Bruce and Parnell. The battle for freedom is my heritage and my real-life experiences have brought me to where I am.

The majority of my cars have been rescued from a decaying existence in forgotten collections. Many were unregistered and I have worked with the authorities to reinstate their original identities.

Each vehicle has been selected in line with my theme and I have sympathetically rehabilitated each car to its appropriate authentic state.

Our cars tell the story of innovation and mass production that enabled the motor car to become progressively more accessible to the full spectrum of society.

The Leading Edge of that story is founded in the pre-war period (1900 to 1940) and the Trailing Edge is defined by the modern motor car post-1970, computer generated, mechanically androgynous, safe and consumable.

Our vision is to “Save the Classics” from the scrapyard of extinction and keep alive an important part of our developmental heritage through the 20th Century.
